INFANT
Infant Classroom | 6 Weeks - 12 Months

Learning begins at birth. Our infants are greeted each day with a warm, loving environment that fosters a positive self-image and emotional security that will last a lifetime. Our bright and spacious infant rooms include age-appropriate activities and toys that will stimulate your child’s senses and curiosity.

TODDLER
Toddlers Classroom | 1-2 Years Old
Description:
Our toddler classrooms focus on developing supportive, trusting relationships with the children. We create rich environments that encourage young children to explore and discover the world around them, helping them to engage in experiences designed to support their optimal development in all domains.
Building Language — We provide each toddler an American Sign Language program, which has been shown to help with nonverbal and eventual verbal communication. Each child will be able to effectively communicate their needs with caregivers and peers, leading to more met needs and a more nurturing environment
Stories and Songs — Entertaining stories coupled with a variety of silly, fun songs help a toddler’s imagination continue to grow while they learn those important skills needed for the next developmental level
Creativity — Our classrooms are designed with imagination in mind. We offer age-appropriate learning centers for toddlers as they explore their abilities in music, art, early literacy, pretend play and more.
Fine and Gross Motor Skills — We know that an active body is a healthy body while playing indoors or outdoors on our large, age-separated play spaces. Whether a child is learning to walk, running at full speed, reaching for the monkey bars, or simply tossing a ball to a friend, they will learn all about their body and celebrate accomplishments both great and small.
Social Interaction — When children enter the world of toddlerhood, they become more aware of the world around them. We understand the importance of friendship and cultivating harmonious relationships with teachers and peers. At Leaping4Education, toddlers will learn how to have positive interactions, regardless of differences in nationality, religious belief, or cultural norms.

PRE-SCHOOL
Pre-School Classroom | 3 Years Old
Description:
Developmentally-Appropriate Practices — Each guided activity, station and procedure is tailored to fit a growing, eager preschooler. We prepare children for elementary school and beyond by building the foundation they need to thrive. Each day, the classroom participates in activities that are customized to each child’s abilities and growth.
Hands-on Involvement — By using teacher-directed and self-directed activities, children are encouraged to learn through engaging, hands-on approaches that allow each child to explore their surroundings.
Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills — Starting at this age, children learn not only to react to their surroundings, but to anticipate, decide, and solve the problems in front of them. Our programs offer safe, nurturing environments for preschoolers to begin building these important skills.
Character Development — Emotional, behavioral, and social skills are developed through our programs to help children grow into healthy, happy, and well-adjusted citizens.
Vocabulary — Preschoolers in our programs learn to build and grow their vocabulary in preparation for kindergarten and beyond.
Social-Emotional Activities — As they are growing, preschoolers are learning how to display their emotions and interact with their peers and teachers. Our programs are developed to further guide a child’s social-emotional growth through positive interactions with those around them.
Literacy Skills — Learning to read is an exciting time in a child’s life! Preschoolers will start putting their alphabet skills to work as they learn to read together in groups and during individual times.
Small Group Instruction — Using small group time to explore new concepts and activities increases a preschooler’s chance to explore with positive guidance while learning to cooperate and work together with their peers.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

-
Academic Introductions — These are group learning sessions where students will be introduced to the subject matter, they are learning that day.
